You will be able to restore your Sysprep'd image to the computer being booted from the flash drive. It's probably easier to have that image on an external HD rather than a network share. It wouldn't be a multi-cast where the image is pushed out once to multiple systems, but it would be like 2 or 3 users copying the same file off a network, your limitation is the bandwidth. The recovery disk loads in RAM, once it's booted all the way you should be able to pull the fask drive and boot another system with it.
But I agree it would be faster to use an external drive, if the flash drive is big enough you may even be able to use it to store the image. It can't be a blank password. I thought I would mention that because it took me a long time to figure it out.
